Open Dodgeball


Show up with a team of 6-10 motivated individuals ready to compete against one another in the game of dodgeball. Recruit your friends for a night of fun and exercise! Individuals are welcome too, and will be placed on a team once teams arrive. Ages 8 and older only please. The leading scorers from each team, each night, will then form a team at the end of the night for a final showdown against all other players!

Time: 6:30–9:30 p.m.
Day/Date: Fridays, January 8–March 26
Location: Windsor Manor Elementary School Gymnasium
Cost: $5/person/night; Be sure to sign in and pay at the door weekly.

Crafty Kids


Children ages 5–8 may join us on a day off of school for a fun and exciting craft for the family. Children will create a doorstop especially for the winter (“Frosty the Doorstop”) and enjoy a healthy snack called snowman on a stick. Parents are encouraged to attend and assist their child with the craft.

Karate for Kids


Classes are open for beginners and children already in the beginner class once or twice that still need a little more practice before testing. Be sure to register early! Classes fill fast! Certified Instructors with great expertise will teach the old style of classical Okinawan and the empty hand technique. Each participant is required to purchase a uniform for class ($25/each) through Red Lion Karate the first night of class. Interested persons ages 5 and older will be accepted. Creative Movement


Students age 3–4 will use songs and games to explore dance basics: loco motor skills, body awareness, spatial orientation, coordination, balance and musicality. Classes held at York Dance Arts LLC with professional degreed and certified instructors. Students’ talents will be showcased in a brief performance given for family and friends at the end of the session. Students will need a black short-sleeved leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Dancewear may be ordered through York Dance Arts LLC for $23. Child sizes. Students’ talents will be showcased in a brief performance given for parents, family and friends at the end of the session. Students will need a black short-sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes. Leotards, tights and ballet slippers may be ordered through York Dance Arts LLC for $23. True Colors - You Can Make a Difference


Students ages 8–11 learn about basic personality traits, the need to accept and value people different from oneself, defining and improving communication, and team building. Bubble Fun 


On your day off of school, join us in creating bubbles three different ways. You and your child can send clouds of tiny bubbles skyward with a quick trick learned in this class. Have the thrill of making marbleized prints out of blowing bubbles and paper. Maximize the power of wind for the greatest bubble blowing ever when making your very own bubble mill. Class is for children ages 5–8; parents encouraged to attend and assist their child with the crafts.

American Red Cross Babysitter's Training


The American Red Cross is offering an ideal course for youth and teens who want to become babysitters. This five-hour course will be taught by a certified American Red Cross instructor and designed to train youth and teens to become effective babysitters. The course will stress the following: developing professionalism, leadership and care giving skills, safety skills to prevent emergencies, managing real life problems, diapering, feeding and tips on finding babysitting jobs. Participants will receive a training manual, course CD, babysitting kit and first aid kit. Participants must bring a packed lunch. Ages 11–15 welcome.

Coed Youth Volleyball


Need some practice setting, bumping, hitting, spiking….. yes, we are talking about volleyball for kids! Ages 9–11 are invited to learn the basics and practice drills for volleyball. The first four weeks will be practices and the last four weeks participants will play scrimmage games against Lower Windsor Township’s youth volleyball team. All participants receive a t-shirt and volleyball medallion. Must pre-register by Monday, February 22, 2010!

Drawing and Painting


Students work with acrylics, watercolor, tempera, pastels, and charcoal while engaging their imaginations, gaining inspiration and learning techniques in creating aesthetic projects. Junior Tennis Clinics

Basic Fundamentals of Softball Pitching


Learn the basics of softball pitching: proper mechanics, technique, control, velocity, strategy, and ball rotation. This clinic is offered to girls ages 7–14. Pitchers are required to bring their own glove, tennis shoes, water bottle, and catcher. Catchers are not charged the fee.

Junior Golf Clinic


Learn the fundamentals of putting, chipping, swing basics, and golf etiquette. This clinic is offered to children and teens ages 6–13. Children will be split up according to ability and ages for the scheduled classes. Certified Golf Professionals from Heritage Hills Golf Resort will teach this series of six lessons.

Basic Car Stuff


This course is designed to give students the knowledge of basic car care, learning proper maintenance schedules. The students will learn about checking fluids and tire pressure properly, how to visually inspect vehicles for concerns, and the process of changing a tire and oil. Interested persons must be at least 16 years old to participate. Adults welcome also.
