AARP 55 Alive


The 55 Alive/Mature Driving course is designed to meet the needs of older drivers. It is offered to anyone 50 years and older. It covers age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, local driving problems and license renewal requirements. This course is all class work, with no testing. Any participant taking the class who is 55 or older may qualify for a minimum 5% discount on their auto insurance premiums. If you and your spouse are the same insurance policy, you both have to take this course in order to receive the discount. Participants MUST attend both class days

Time: 12 pm  - 4 pm
Day/Date: Tuesday; May 13 and Tuesday May 20 (must attend both days)
Location: Windsor Township Building, 1480 Windsor Road, Red Lion
Cost: $10 for Resident and Non-Residents

NEW! AARP Refresher


The AARP Refresher is designed to review the basics covered in the AARP 55 Alive. The course is a refresher for the following: rules of the road, age related physical changes and declining perceptual skills that effect driving, local driving problems and license renewal requirements. This course is all class work, with no testing. MUST have taken AARP 55 Alive course and show proof upon registering.
 

Time: 12 pm - 4 pm
Days/Dates: Tuesday, September 23
Location: Windsor Township Building, 1480 Windsor Road, Red Lion
Cost:  $10 for Residents and Non-Residents

NEW! Family & Friends First Aid for Children


The American Heart Association Family & Friends First Aid for Children program teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child for the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This program covers such topics as recognizing and treating basic first aid emergencies, relief of choking in infants and children and preventing injuries. Great for babysitters and older siblings who want basic first aid information, but who do not need a course completion credential. Taught by Bryan Einsig, a certified instructor of the American Heart Association.

Time: 1:15 pm - 2:15 pm
Days/Dates: Saturday, July 12
Location: Windsor Township Building, 1480 Windsor Road
Cost: $12R/$15NR (includes first aid for children manual)


NEW! Family & Friends CPR


The American Heart Association Family and Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, children or infants and how to help if they are choking. This program is great for family members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. Taught by Bryan Einsig, a certified instructor of the American Heart Association.
