Windsor Area Recreation Commission is
looking at a variety of cost saving ventures and committed to
offering as many program/course offerings as possible at an
affordable cost to all community members. This program guide
edition (January-April) will always be a  WARC
sponsored program guide, including all winter programs. The
spring and fall edition program guides will be joined with the
Windsor Township Update. Please be sure to look inside the
front cover to uncover all of the great program offerings
especially for YOU!
Be sure to mark your
calendars for all upcoming sports registrations. Sport
registrations for the upcoming seasons are always really
early. This is to ensure all registration is received in a
timely fashion and participating leagues receive the
appropriate information prior to their deadlines.
WARC is also venturing
into different fundraising opportunities, as our programs are
growing; we need more equipment, fields, team league fees
increase, maintenance requirements, etc. WARC is sponsoring a
Basket Bingo on Sunday, March 14 (snow date March 21). Doors
open at 12:30 p.m., bingo begins at 2 p.m. at the Leo
Fire Hall, 201 W. Broadway in Red Lion. All proceeds go
towards Windsor Soccer Club and our Youth Sports Scholarship
Fund. Please join us and share your support! WARC looks
forward to a New Year of new programs, new instructors, and
new prices! I encourage all families to take advantage of our
program discount day on Wednesday, January 13th, from 9 a.m.–
4 p.m. to receive a $5 discount off each program for each
participant, excluding sports registrations. Cash and checks
are accepted on this day, or you may pay over the phone with a
Visa or Master Card (call us at 244-3512).
